Evan Miyazono is the founder and CEO of Atlas Ignota, a nonprofit that looks for AI risks no existing institution owns and recruits founders to take them on. He relaunched it in September 2026 from Atlas Computing, which spent two years building the field of AI-assisted formal verification and helped start efforts including Theorem and Oath Technologies. Atlas Ignota is part of Convergent Research. He previously ran research at Protocol Labs and holds a PhD in experimental quantum optics from Caltech.
